Meet Kabagyenyi Olivia, a native of Buhoma, a quaint village nestled near the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Growing up, she was immersed in the rich culture of the Bwindi forest, where her father played a pivotal role as a pioneer in habituation and a tourist guide until his retirement in 2024.

The fervent love she has for nature, animals, and adventure is matched only by her dedication to championing women’s rights. In Uganda, as in many parts of the world, women are often unfairly perceived as the weaker gender. She firmly believes that both men and women possess equal capabilities and potential.
