Olivia Kabagyeni

Co-Founder | Conservation & Community Tourism Advocate

Olivia Kabagyeni is a passionate tourism and conservation advocate with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Social Sciences majoring in women and gender studies Gender Studies, minoring in philosophy from makerere university. As one of the few women guides to co-found a conservation-conscious safari company in Uganda, she brings a unique perspective that blends community empowerment, sustainability, and authentic travel experiences.

Her deep love for tourism and wildlife conservation was inspired by her father, a pioneer ranger guide who played a significant role in habituating some of Uganda’s first mountain gorilla families. Growing up close to Bwindi’s forests and conservation work shaped Olivia’s commitment to protecting nature while creating opportunities for local communities through responsible tourism.

At Thrills & Chills Safaris, Olivia is dedicated to promoting meaningful travel experiences that celebrate Uganda’s wildlife, culture, and people while supporting conservation efforts for future generations.
